Odds & Markets

What you will find from Betway is that the site is relatively strong when it comes to pricing. It would be unfair to say that they are up there with the likes of BetVictor, because in all honesty, they aren’t, but they more than hold their own with the majority of bookmakers. One area that we did notice they were strong with is that of esports. The odds on offer for these markets were very strong and it seems to be one of the best places to bet on esports in the industry.

Market coverage on site is excellent and everything that you would expect to see from one of the biggest bookmakers. The focus is heavily around both football and horse racing, which comes as no surprise, but outside of these markets we were impressed with what was on offer.

Features

Betway’s website is, in our opinion, one of the most aesthetically pleasing in the business, and it also has good functionality. Sometimes it takes a few more clicks than other sites to navigate to the markets you’re looking for and the ordering of sidebars could be more intuitive but for the casual bettor this isn’t too much of an issue.

The site also allows you to quickly flick between upcoming betting markets as well, changing between starting in the next hour, 4 hours and 24 hours, saving you having to trawl through the whole site.

In Play Betting

The in-play section is very easy to find as there are buttons on all pages which takes you to the long list of in-play and upcoming events. From here you can see how much coverage is available and view all the markets for each fixture by simply clicking on them.

Live Streaming

Live streaming is available on the site although it is provided by a third party and is not always of the highest quality when compared to other top bookmakers. However having any kind of live-streaming functionality puts them ahead of much of their competition so it can’t really go down as a weakness.

One of our favourite features with the bookmakers comes in the form of Betway Boosts. These are a series of bets that Betway have enhanced the price of and they come from a number of different sports. The boosts can be significant and we have seen 3/1 bets enhanced to as much as 7/1 from the markets that we tested. Mobile Betting

The mobile betting app is a fairly new feature to the Betway armoury or at least in it’s current form it’s new, and has been a welcomed addition. The app carries over the great design that you are going to get from the desktop site and makes it into a functional, yet attractive place to bet.

Horse Finder with Timeform

The horse finder feature at Betway is one of the best that we have come across in some time. The concept is that it allows you to choose a certain number of criteria to find potential picks, such as course winners, finished well last time out, going winner, distance winner, winner in last 3, hampered last race, improved rating, winner last race and plenty more.

Once you have selected your different criteria then the Timeform will pick out a number of picks for you to choose from. It’s a bit like a predictor, but works on a much more sophisticated level, which is why we like it so much.

Casino Games

As mentioned previously, the casino takes all its games form the Microgaming software and can be accessed via the browser-based software on site.
