Royal Panda Review

Royal Panda Casino ScreenshotThe Royal Panda Casino is one of a number of high quality, new breed casinos that have entered the marketplace over the last few years. The site comes with an intriguing layout as the Royal Panda is dressed appropriately regal.

But, there is definitely some substance to their style and this is even more apparent given that, even though they are still very young, they have managed to carve out a piece of the market in what’s probably the most competitive sector in the gambling industry these days.

This review will look at just how well Royal Panda can perform against some of the bigger players in the industry and also try to highlight where they might be heading in the years to come.

Loyalty Program: VIP Points

The VIP section at Royal Panda has the cunning name of Loyal Panda. Basically, it works in the same that most other VIP sections do in that, the more points you earn the most prizes you will get. You start earning points on any real money casino game and you will automatically be entered into the reward scheme, starting at the Bronze level. There are three further levels, including Silver, Gold and Diamond.

Points are earned depending on which games you play. Below we have detailed which games get what points (cost of wager = 1 point):

  • Slots = £10
  • Roulette/ Live Roulette = £25
  • Table Games = £50
  • Video Poker = £50
  • Live Casino = £50
  • Scratchcards = £10
  • Soft Games = £10
  • Sports Bets = £10

As you will notice from the last point, sports bets do contribute to this rewards structure as well, which we think is an added bonus. Below we have listed how many points you need for each level:

  • Bronze = Default
  • Silver = 15,000 LP Points
  • Gold = 45,000 LP Points
  • Diamond = 120,000 LP Points

The points are then exchangeable for a series of rewards from within the Loyal Panda shop. The more points you have, the more lucrative the rewards on offer. Rewards will vary from promotions, electronics, merchandise, jewellery and travel vouchers.

Casino Games

The site comes jam packed with casino games, but rather surprisingly, they only use three software providers, including: Evolution Gaming, Microgaming and NetEnt. But, for those of you who are familiar with software providers, will know that these guys are arguably the best three in the industry right, with Microgaming alone offering up over 500 titles for prospective clients.

The casino can be accessed via your browser on either a Mac or a Windows PC, with unfortunately no download option available at the time of writing. It must be noted that the speed of the site is rather impressive and the software even keeps tabs of a running jackpot total for games on site. Just for reference, at the time of writing, this number was a staggering £25 million!

The range of games are actually quite staggering and it’s clear that they have tapped into each software providers catalogue of games. You will have about 600 games in total with slots making up the vast majority of these. Some standout titles included DJ wild, Thunderstruck II, Emerald Isle, The Flash and Terminator 2.

Outside of slots the games continue to come thick and fast with around 40 table games to choose from a dedicated video poker section. The casino also includes a standalone live casino section, where games, such as roulette and blackjack, can be played from a live casino environment.

They also have a brand new mobile casino to accompany their existing brand and this can be downloaded via the website or simply entering the casino into your mobile's browser. You won't be able to enjoy the exact number of games that you can see from the online version of the casino, but we found that there were more than enough games to really get your teeth stuck into.

Finally, we just wanted to mention about the loyalty program at Royal Panda, which allows you to earn points for every pound that you spend at the casino. Different games will equate to a different points ratio, for example, £10 worth of wagers on slots will get you 1 point whereas it would £25 worth of wagers to gain one point playing roulette. Points can then be turned into prizes and the more points you earn, the higher your ranking within the casino will become.

Who Are Royal Panda Casino?

Royal Panda is owned by Royal Panda Limited and the company have been about since 2014. This may seem like a pretty short period of time, and to be fair it is, but it’s remarkable what the casino has achieved in this short time frame.

The company are based out of Malta and it’s here where they are also licensed, which you can see more info at the bottom of the this article. Whilst there isn’t an awful lot on the background of the business, the fact that they are very open about who they are, where they are based and what they aim to do, is very promising indeed and we wouldn’t be surprised to see the company really kick on over the next couple of years.
