Winner Review

Winner ScreenshotWinner has been about since 2013 and in that time have managed to create a fairly success sports betting platform. The company are based out of Israel and whilst it may not be seen as the betting capital of the world, their ability to be able adapt to an ever-changing marketplace has allowed them to thrive.

What’s been good to see from Winner is that even though they are heavily involved in other gambling products such as casino, poker and bingo, the sports betting side seem to have had just as many resources thrown at it to aid its development. Whilst it’s still relatively early days, it will be interesting to see how the bookmaker competes with much more established brands moving forward.

Loyalty Program: Points Scheme + VIP

We love a VIP section that includes both casino and sports betting within the same section and this is exactly what you get from Winner. You set off to earn pints by making real money bets on either the sportsbook or the casino and then these points you are able to turn into prizes, bonuses and various other rewards. It is worth noting that whilst Winner does provide poker and bingo options, they will not contribute to this rewards section.

You will earn 1 point for every £4.50 single and 1 point per £2 multiple within the sportsbook. Also, you will earn 1 pint for every £12 wagered within the casino. There are 7 levels of VIP, with each being more lucrative than the next. Below we have listed those levels along with the bonus you can expect and points needed to attain that level:

  • Amateur
  • Semi-Pro = 400 points sand £12 bonus
  • Championship = 1,600 points and £40 bonus
  • Premier League = 8,000 points and £200 bonus
  • Premier League Winner = 22,000 points and £450 bonus
  • Champions League Winner = 55,000 points and £960 bonus
  • World Cup Winner = 120,000 points and £2,100 bonus

It’s worth noting that the last 3 levels will also include a VIP present worth up to £50, £100 and £500, respectively. Any bonus that you get must be wagered through 30 times within 30 days of being issued to your account.

Odds & Markets

The pricing structure at Winner is pretty reasonable, but when compared with some of the bigger bookmakers they tend to struggle across the board. We didn’t find huge discrepancies on price, but they always just seemed to be that way of the likes of Betfair and BetVictor, especially when it came to horse racing and football betting markets. We did find that the odds they provide on the American sports such as NFL, NBA and MLB were very good though and maybe they are more suited to slightly more niche markets.

The market coverage is excellent though and we often felt as thought the bookmaker provided more markets that you could ever need. Again, football and horse racing play a huge part in the makeup of the site, but that’s not a bad thing as they are what most people want to bet on. The range of bets for some of the less popular sports (Rugby, Snooker, Cricket etc.) was a bit of an issue, but on the whole we could them appealing to a wide range of punters.

Features

Winner Features Screenshot

The In-Play betting section, as pictured above, is probably our favourite feature on site. Not only do they offer a good range of sports and markets to choose from, but the big appeal was their match centre. Whilst this isn’t something new to live betting, the match centre and Winner allowed you to see exactly what was happening from their 2D graphics and where those particular events were taking place on the field. We even saw games from as far as Bahrain on the site with up to the second representation of where the ball was for football betting.

One of the sites more recent additions is that of cash out betting. The cash out functionality isn’t all that new to online betting these days, but there are still a number of bookies that don’t offer this feature. Winner, we are pleased to say, now do offer it and we found that it works well with the nicely designed bet slip that’s on offer.

About Winner

Winner is one of the most exciting brands in the sports betting market at the minute. They already boast millions of players based around the world and with that have seen some pretty short-term success. The company have actually been about since 2009, but the sports betting side of things didn’t come into fruition until about 2013. Whilst this may seem like a fairly short period of time, you are going to be tapping into a more established brand than you may think…

This is because the Winner brand is actually owned by that of PT Entertainment Limited. It’s likely you’ve never heard of these, but they actually already own and run that of TitanBet, who are one of the best in the business and have been for decades now. The company are based out of the Isle of Man and we are expecting to see big things from them in the coming months and years.
