Torquay Casinos

For an upmarket and popular seaside resort, it may be surprising that Torquay has just one casino. However, the Genting Casino Torquay is able to cater for all of Torquay’s visitor and resident’s casino needs. Not only can guests enjoy the tables, food and drink, but the casino has an extra dimension – quite literally!

Torquay’s Genting Casino is said to be haunted according to their manager when being interviewed by the town’s local newspaper about ghostly sightings at the casino. As well as harmless pranks being played on customers, there have been sightings of a young girl dressed in white, as well as a number of other unexplained mysteries.

This, however, doesn’t detract from the main offerings of the casino. Opening from 12pm to 6am every day, visitors can choose from wider-than-normal choice of casino games that includes favourites, such as Blackjack and Roulette, as well as lesser-known offerings, such as Baccarat and Crazy 4 Card Poker.

There’s a very popular card room at the casino too where cash games and tournaments run on very night of the week except Mondays. Food and drink is on offer at the casino and its Fahrenheit restaurant is popular with local residents and visitors from out of town. Offering a diverse and exciting menu, it is complemented by a well-stocked bar that is the perfect place to enjoy some time away from the buzz of the gaming floor.
