Birmingham Casinos

As the UK’s second biggest city, it comes as no surprise that the city of Birmingham is home to five fantastic casinos. Operated by various chains and situated in various areas of the city, residents and visitors to Birmingham have a great choice of venues to enjoy some casino gaming.

The UK’s largest casino chain Grosvenor have two venues in the city. The first, Grosvenor Casino Birmingham Broad Street is situated to the west of the city centre at an out of town development that includes a Cineworld and Five Guys burger venue. Casino games on offer include Roulette, Blackjack and Three Card Poker. Like most Grosvenor venues, the casino offers a good restaurant and bar and, because of its location, there is a large on-site car park.

Grosvenor’s second offering is in the city centre of Birmingham and is a large, popular casino called the Grosvenor Casino Birmingham Hill Street. Open 24 hours a day, like its sister venue out of town it has a bar and restaurant but its gaming offering is more expansive. As well as the usual Roulette, Blackjack and Three Card Poker, Punto Banco is played here too. There’s Poker on offer here too and the casino offers daily cash and tournaments in their extensive 150-seat card room.

Genting is another large casino chain and both of their casinos in Birmingham are situated out of the city centre. The first is in the suburb of Nechells at the Star City family and leisure complex called the Genting Casino Birmingham Star City. The second is in the leafy suburb of Edgbaston just north of the University of Birmingham campus called the Genting Casino Birmingham Edgbaston. Both of these venues offer a good selection of casino games, Poker and popular bars and restaurants.

The final casino in Birmingham is just up the road from the Genting Casino Edgbaston and is the Rainbow Casino Birmingham. On the edge of the city centre, like the other casinos in Birmingham it offers a great casino experience. As well as an excellent choice of games, slots and Poker, it also has an excellent bar and restaurant, the latter of which is called the Clarendon and has a great choice of dishes on offer.
