Grosvenor Casino Bristol

With the amount of new, purpose built casinos, it is easy to be put off by an exterior, such as that at the Grosvenor Casino Bristol. Whilst it couldn’t be described as scruffy, it is somewhat shabby and has seen better days. However, thankfully, this does not extend to the interior and this is clean yet vibrant and welcoming as soon as you walk in.

One way of judging how good a casino like this is how many regulars use it. If our visit was anything to go by, then this is one of the best as it was clear that many of our fellow gamers were regular visitors, chatting easily with the casino staff. Whilst this could come across as cliquey, it actually gave the casino a friendly, intimate vibe.

Visiting

  • Opening Hours: The casino is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
  • Dress Code: Smart casual (no sportswear or work wear)
  • Membership: Available but not necessary to play. Proof of ID required
  • Getting There: Situated reasonably centrally in Bristol means that it's easy to get to the casino by public transport, but the main Bristol train station is some distance away. The casino is easily reachable by bus from here though and there are plenty of taxis and minicabs; Car drivers should use the postcode BS1 5TT in their sat nav
  • Parking: Free valet parking is available in the Millennium Square car park

Casino Games

Like all Grosvenor Casinos, you’ll find all the most popular casino games here, including various tables of Roulette and Blackjack. Dealers and staff are very friendly and this would be a great choice of casino if you’re a beginner thanks to this fact. More experienced and higher stakes players are well looked after too and this casino has the highest bets in Bristol, £400 per number on Roulette and up to £2000 per box on Blackjack.

There are also a range of slots too. There aren’t as many as you might expect at a casino this size but you will find favourites, such as Lucky Lady’s Charm and Cleopatra.

Poker

Cash Poker games are available every Friday and Saturday at the Grosvenor Casino Bristol with a Poke rake table open from 9pm for a minimum number of 5 players.

Loyalty Program

The Grosvenor Casino in Bristol takes part in the usual Grosvenor awards programme where you are awarded points for everything that you spend, whether in this casino, any other Grosvenor casino or online. Points can be cashed in for various prizes in the rewards catalogue.

Food and Drink

The restaurant and bar at the casino are perfectly acceptable for a venue like this and the restaurant in particular seemed to have several people in who came for the food alone rather than gaming too. This is testament to the quality of food on offer. It’s not the most exciting menu but the food is excellent value for money.
