Grosvenor Casino Coventry

The Grosvenor Casino is in the stunning surroundings of Coventry’s Ricoh arena – the home of both Coventry City FC and Wasps RFC sports teams in the Rowleys Green district of the city. Despite being some distance out of the city centre, it is an easy to get to casino thanks to its location at the arena with several bus routes going this way and a dedicated Coventry Arena Railway Station on-site.

The casino is popular and has all of what you would expect of a Grosvenor Casino. It has a great selection of casino games, a busy poker programme, as well as a restaurant and bar that has a selection of live entertainment on every month.

Swap Start/End

  • Opening Hours: The casino is open 24 hours per day Saturday and Sunday, 12pm to 6am Monday to Friday
  • Dress Code: Smart casual (no sportswear, vests, work wear)
  • Membership: It is not necessary to be a member to play here but do remember to bring ID
  • Getting There: The casino is outside of Coventry city centre in the Rowleys Green district; Because of its location in the Ricoh Arena and next to the Arena Park Shopping Centre, buses are frequent and there is an on-site train station so getting back into Coventry city centre or elsewhere is not usually difficult
  • Parking: Free parking available in the Ricoh Arena car park

Casino Games

The casino has a good selection of casino games, including Electronic Roulette, Roulette, Three Card Poker and Blackjack. You will also find a good selection of slots, including old favourites like Cleopatra, as well as some more recent additions.

Poker tournaments take place every night of the week and are a mixture of Re-Buy and Re-Entry games of Texas Hold’Em. Guaranteed prize pots range from £500 to £1500 on a Saturday. Cash games are also held on a daily basis and start at 6pm on all days apart from Sundays when the start time is 4pm.

Loyalty Program

Like all other Grosvenor establishments in the UK, you can get points every time you spend money in the casino whether on games, slots or on food and drink. These points can then eventually be spent on prizes from the Play Points catalogue.

Food and Drink

The restaurant here serves the standard Grosvenor menu, so you can expect dishes like Pesto Crusted Halibut and Spiced Half Chicken. The food is freshly prepared and is popular with gamers. There is also a stylish bar too that, as well as having a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, hosts live entertainment throughout the month from live bands to popular tribute acts.
