Grosvenor Casino Sunderland

You can tell from the moment you walk into Grosvenor Casino Sunderland that you’re going to have a bit of a different experience from the four separate booths manned by members of staff – more reminiscent of passport control than a reception area. After passing through, you’ll immediately notice how the gaming area is neon-tinged, sporting a zany flooring pattern and a mixture of fluorescent and disco-style lighting overhead.

The dining area is semi-closed off in a more sophisticated space of the casino, whilst the bar offers a good range of seating and the opportunity to watch Sky Sports on a number of television screens. There is also a great range of live and electronic games available to play at Grosvenor Casino Sunderland, which gives it an edge on many other standard, smaller casinos.

Loyalty Program

Grosvenor Casinos operate a Play Points program for registered customers. For every bet you place, you’ll receive a number of points. These points can then be exchanged for a gift from the Play Points catalogue. You can learn a bit more about this loyalty system by asking the friendly staff members in the reception booths.

Food and Drink

The dining room at Grosvenor Casino Sunderland has received some excellent reviews – not least due to the attentiveness of the waiting staff on hand. There are a good range of dishes to choose from with the Persian Spiced Half Chicken main seemingly one of the most popular. It’s not fine dining but neither is it average standard ‘pub grub’.

The bar has plenty of seating available both at the bar itself and further towards the gaming floor. There’s also an adjacent booth area decorated with three television screens all showing Sky Sports day and night, making this venue a particularly good spot to watch Premiership Football.
