Casino Games

Visitors to the Alea Glasgow can play a wide range of casino games. These include Blackjack, Roulette, Electronic Roulette and Three Card Poker. There is also a Punto Banco table where you can play this form of Baccarat with bets allowed between £10 and £100. The Alea Glasgow is host to a large number of slots and video slots which range from classics, such as Pharaoh's Fortune, to new state-of-the-art multi-game platforms with jackpots of up to £4,000. Punto Banco, a variant of baccarat, is available with a minimum bet of £10 and a maximum of £1,000.


The poker room at the Alea Glasgow is open daily and runs both tournaments and cash games. Games on offer include Texas Hold'em and Omaha. For tournaments, there is a fixed £4 entry fee on top of the buy-in and the dealer dealt cash games operate a 5% rake.

There are also regular special events, including satellites to UK Poker Tour games and tournaments with free buffets, guarantees and added prize money. The poker room also plays host to tournaments from the Grand Prix Poker Tour.

Through the poker rewards program you can also earn points to spend on food and drink at the casino. Points are earned for playing in cash games and awarded at a rate of 50 points per hour of play. The points can be spent at any bar or restaurant with 100 points worth £1.

Food and Drink

Foodies are in luck when visiting Alea Glasgow, as it features one of Scotland’s most exciting eateries – Tasty – a 120-seat restaurant that has stunning views out over the River Clyde and the Glasgow city skyline. The restaurant is headed up by celebrity chef Tony Singh, a regular on TV screens and a chef known for his innovative and unique take on food. Tony’s menu is Scottish-inspired and uses only the finest locally sourced ingredients to create simply wonderful dishes that are at the same time timeless and innovative.

There are also two bars to enjoy. Firstly, there is the informal Isobar, which is a relaxed sports bar that is perfect to watch the big game in before sampling the delights of the casino. Isobar has some amazing views across the River Clyde and visitors can enjoy a wide range of drinks, as well as a tempting array of snacks. Isobar can be enjoyed at almost any time of day, opening a 12 noon with a license to serve alcohol until 6am.

The Long Bar is Alea Glasgow’s more formal bar and is where visitors can enjoy the delightful music of the bar’s resident pianist, DJ and the occasional live band. The Long Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a wide range of cocktails with the bar’s resident mixologist providing a dazzling array of drinks to suit all tastes. The Long Bar is also home to a ‘Learn to Play Blackjack’ table, which is hosted by the bar’s very own Vegas showgirl. It’s the perfect place to start for beginners before heading off into the casino.
