Playboy Club London

Playboy Club London is one of the more famous casinos in Mayfair – perhaps more so for its image as opposed to the range of games it offers. Voluptuous bunny croupiers roam the premises 24 hours a day, creating the illusion that you’ve just stepped inside the Playboy Mansion itself. Some will love the idea of stepping into Hugh Hefner’s shoes for the evening, whereas others will find the entire experience too peculiar for words.

Nonetheless, there’s no doubting the facilities available at the Playboy Club London with a gaming room, restaurant, cigar terrace, two bars, lounge area (with sports) and private rooms all available to members. Special events are also held throughout the month, including a jazz night and evenings with celebrity guests.

Casino Games

The gaming floor at the Playboy Club London adopts a unique appearance given the omnipresence of the croupier bunnies (who deal cards as well as serve drinks), but the games on offer are pretty standard: American Roulette, Three Card Poker, Blackjack and Punto Banco. There are also three luxury Salon Prive rooms available for reservation, and these are usually frequented by the high rollers who enjoy the thrill of big stakes games.

Most of the poker that takes place in The Playboy Club London is done so on the Three Card Poker tables in the gaming room, but there are special charity Poker tournaments that happen from time to time – and these often prove to be extremely popular.

Loyalty Program

The Playboy Club London invites its members to join “The Playlist”, which puts them at the front of the queue to hear about future events and special offers that may arise in the future. It’s free to sign up, so if you’re planning on becoming a member, jumping on The Playlist certainly makes sense. You’ll also have first dibs on tickets to big occasions – which can prove to be extremely useful as The Playboy Club gigs fill up pretty fast.

Food and Drink

There are two bars situated inside the Playboy Club London: The Tale Bar (a swanky cocktail lounge) and The Players Lounge (an opulent, private bar area for members, with valet bunnies providing table service). The restaurant or “Dining Room” is open from Midday to 1.30am, providing small and expensive portions of food that taste good but might not fill you up if you’ve got a bigger appetite.

There is a good selection of dishes to choose from though, and you’ll be spoilt for choice for drinks when you mull over the comprehensive wine list. The smiling bunnies are generally very polite and helpful too, doing their bit to reinforce the “gentleman’s vibe” that the Playboy Club London is entirely dedicated to creating.
